End of Term 3

This term has been full of ups and downs for all of our students. Please be reassured that even though lockdown took up a good chunk of their learning time, your children have copped remarkably well and we are working hard together to try and make sure the students do not feel stressed about their learning and are enjoying being at school.

All of your children have been assessed on their maths, literacy and values for the term. You can view these on our seesaw platform.

There have been many highs throughout this term and we are very much looking forward to Term 4 which holds lots of exciting events like athletics and Tūhura camp.

Over the holiday please:

  1. Relax and enjoy being with your family :)
  2. A reminder - next term is hat term. Please make sure your child has a hat.
  3. A reminder that school athletics is Wednesday the 20th of October (the first weekend back).
  4. Week 2 labour weekend, followed by Tūhura camp 26 - 27th of October. Please check out the Tūhura camp gear list:
  5. Camp Meeting: There will be a meeting for parents attending camp Monday 18th October (week 1, term 4) at 4pm in Tūhura. Other parents are welcome to attend this meeting also.

We wish you a lovely relaxing holiday. See you in Term 4!

Well that's a wrap for Week 6 and welcome to Spring!

It is a bit scary to think that when we get back to school we will only have a few weeks of term 3 left.

CHECKING IN:
We hope you are all doing ok in your bubbles.
Miss G, Lynn and Paula are all doing some days in at school over Level 3.
Just remember we are only an email away if you need to know anything or just want a chat.

LEARNING:
Learning over this time at home can be accessed via studyladder, seesaw and the website. We are uploading new tasks daily and marking the work as it comes in. Please remember to keep all your hard copy work as you will need to bring this back to school with you. Once back this will help up to know what work has been done and allow for groupings for the rest of the term.

CONNECTING:
We are still doing our daily 11am Zoom connects, these are a great way to connect and hang out with your classmates, so COME JOIN US!!!!
On Monday we are going to have a sharing time, so this is an opportunity for you to share something special with us.

PET SHOW:
Over this last week the whole school has been sent out Pet Show and Ag Club forms to fill out. Ag Club is only for those families that are new to the school or who have done it every year. Pet Show is for the whole school and everyone is to take part, so go onto the link that was sent out, via school apps, and choose what you are going to take part in. Pet Show is an awesome day and we look forward to seeing how you are going to be involved.
