SCHOOLS OUT
We would like to say a huge thank you for taking the time to come and discuss your child's progress at learning conferences this week and for your support throughout the term. All of our meetings were extremely positive and we hope that you have come away feeling confident about the progress your child has made and seen how much fun we have had this year.
We have had a brilliant term full of creativity and science, and we have loved seeing your children's curiosity flourish.
We are very keen to get students using Studyladder as a tool to support their learning, both in class and at home. Next term we will be reshuffling some of our groups. Once we have set new groups we will send out a new Studdyladder account for each student.
We had lots of questions at learning conferences about how parents can support their child's learning at home. We believe that the best way to support your child is through practising basic facts, learning their heart words and reading with or to your child.
The Tūhura website will have some relevant learning activities on it and we will also do some research and email through some age-appropriate chapter books to inspire your readers.
CAMP: We are wanting to confirm parents help for camp over the holidays, so please fill out the jotform that was sent last week, ASAP, if you wish to be considered for camp.
Here are some photos of term 2:
Have a wonderful and safe break!
Ngā mihi nuiPaula, Holly and Lynn
